Dizel petrol kirliliğinin dar su yollarında boşaltılması öncelikle deneysel olarak analiz edilmiş ve bu çalışmada denizdeki petrol kirliliği davranışları matematiksel olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Çeşitli senaryolar ile geminin petrol kirliliğinin gerçek yaşam uygulamasını içeren radyasyon izleme tekniği kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneysel araştırma, dar su yolları için çeşitli dizel yakıt miktarlarının belirlenmesi esasına göre tasarlandı.Bu çalışma, kıyı-temelli tesislerden çeşitli deşarjların hesaba katıldığı deniz kaza senaryolarını da kapsamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, çeşitli deşarj miktarları için deneyler yapılmıştır ve atık suların alternatif seyreltme seviyeleri grafik değerlendirmelerle ileri düzeyde tahmin edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışma, farklı olay türlerini dikkate alarak, radyasyon izleme tekniğinin yardımıyla dökülmenin belirlenmesi için önerilen bir matematiksel model sunmaktadır.

Discharging of diesel oil pollution in the narrow water ways were analyzed firstly experimental and then evaluated by mathematically of petrol pollution behavior on the sea in this study. It was performed by utilizing the radiation tracing technique which comprises the real life application of a ship's oil pollution via various scenarios. The experimental research was designed based on the determination of various discharge quantities of diesel-oil for narrow water ways. This study aims beyond the scope of marine accident scenarios that it takes into account various discharges from shore-based facilities as well. Then experiments were held for ten various discharge quantities in this study that the alternative dilution levels of the effluents also have been estimated in advanced with graphical assessments. Consequently this study provides a proposed mathematical model for the determination of spillage by the aid of radiation tracing technique while taking into account different incident types.
