Mavi Atlas (e-ISSN: 2148-5232) is an open access and a refereed journal published on-line with the support of the Faculty of Letters at Gümüşhane University. The aim of journal is to provide an academic discussion forum streaming toward the future in order to rethink the actual problems of the current age with a deepening on essential problems and solution proposals considered and deliberated intellectually from past to present within the field of social sciences/humanities via internalizing historical background.

Mavi Atlas publishes two volumes in a year. Works accepted by the journal is to be in the field of social sciences/humanities, and can be classified in two different groups. The first group includes “Research Articles”. The second group papers includes “Translations”, “Book Reviews”, “Discussions,” “Conversations,” “Seminar Papers,” and “News.” All papers published by Mavi Atlas are made freely accessible on-line immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers.

All the articles in Mavi Atlas are searched in “iThenticate” or “Turnitin” and all refereed articles that have completed related processes and entitled to be published gets “DOI” number.
