International Journal of Environment and Geoinformatics (IJEGEO) is an international, multidisciplinary, peer reviewed, certified open access journal, established in 2014. IJEGEO aims to address research and needs of all working and studying within the many varied areas of geoinformatics and environmental sciences. IJEGEO is an Open Access journal aims to publish the discoveries and current developments in the mode of research articles. IJEGEO welcomes article submissions and does not charge a publication fee. Reviews and letters in all areas of the field and making them freely available to researchers worldwide.

IJEGEO is published three times per year, publishes original researches, review papers and short communications on environment and earth sciences. The IJEGEO is concerned with the science and technology of both Environment and Remote Sensing and the applications of remotely sensed data in all major disciplines. Widely interdisciplinary, IJEGEO publishes on terrestrial, oceanic, and atmospheric sensing.

Emphasis is placed on  Earth and Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Pollution, Integrated Coastal Zone Management, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, GIS, GPS, LIDAR and Laser Scanning, Spatial Data Infrastructure, Oceanography, Meteorology, Climate Change, Archaeology, Geomorphology, Geology and Geophysics, DSS, Biological Conservation, Hydrology and Water Resources. The papers submitted for publication must be unpublished and should contain data that have not previously been published elsewhere as a whole or in part. Review papers must provide a synthesis and critical evaluation of the state of knowledge of the subject. Manuscripts should be written in clear and concise English and conform to general style of the journal.  It is aimed at providing its readers a common platform to share and broadcast quality based recent research advancements in the field of mainly Earth and Environmental Sciences, without any charges. There is no restriction on the length of the papers.
