Language Teaching and Educational Research (LATER) is an international biannual(june-december) peer-reviewed academic journal that aims to promote the practical, theoretical and methodological understanding of learning, teaching and educational research. LATER encourages submission from all fields of education, and in particular, from second/foreign language pedagogy. LATER considers original research articles, instructional papers, literature reviews, research reports, meta-studies as well as book reviews for publication. LATER publishes articles in the English and Turkish languages.
Articles to be considered for publication must be original, unpublished, and not in consideration for publication elsewhere. The LATER Journal has a double-blind peer review system. Any manuscript submitted for consideration is reviewed by at least two reviewers with expertise in the related subject area.
The LATER Journal is an open access journal, and does NOT require any fee from the authors for article processing, review and publication processes. Submissions must be made through the online submission system, from the "Submit a manuscript" tab.
Language Teaching and Educational Research (LATER) has started to receive submissions for the second issue which is to be published in December 2018.
